I had a compact car, traded in for the Tacoma, that had a plastic shield down there. Had the car for 15 years with me changing the oil regularly. Never in all those years, did I notice any degradation in that plastic shield. Winter weather every year also. Give me one for the Sport. That's...

How about making a plastic 'skid' plate for underneath to replace the felt thing with scoops that we're left with when we remove the air-dam. I don't off-road, but want something uder there for smoother air flow, that doesn't catch the snow and ice in the winter.
Many vehicles these days have a plastic 'skid' plate (really for air flow than skids). Would be nice if someone would make one for the Tacoma for those of us not doing off-roading. Get rid on the little felt one on there now with the little scoops. I don't need a $400 metal one. $100 plastic...
I'm going to try cutting the dam down, then using a heat gun to flatten out a little to join up with the plastic felt plate. The plate is not going to make it through winter the way it is exposed right now.
Are you eligible for that lemon law buyback program? If it was me, I'd get my money back, then wait till next year and see if there are any other major problems with the 2024 Tacoma. No way do I want a brand new truck that has just had major surgery performed on it. I'd always be...
With my 3 year old phone, I could not get Android Auto to work at all, wireless or cable. Then I read that not all USB cords carry data, some are just for charging. I ordered a 4K USB cable and AA connects every time, now. I just need to figure out how to use AA and still get my AM/FM...
I've tried that, but it doesn't do much for me. The rear door speakers are way down low, firing into the carpet and the tight rear seat area, so that sounds gets lost in comparison to the the front center. You'll understand if you ever get the truck with that system.
I removed the center one, and leave the others folded down. I'm almost tempted to have the two remaining made into speaker/enclosures to counter the overpowering center speaker on my JBL system.
Everyone changing out tires and/or wheels on the 2024...........how much extra does it costs? Are these items traded in or do you try to sell them outright? BTW, I have a 2024 TRD sport with the 18" wheels and Michelins, do I won't be spending extra money on those items.
