  1. Superficial comparison look at Tacoma vs 4Runner TRD Pro (materials, build quality, feel, paint)

Would be interesting to compare the 4th gen tacoma with the 6th gen 4runner. Or 3rd gen tacoma with the 5th gen 4runner. More "apples to apples " if you get my drift.
  2. Sneak Peek: A-Pillar Grab Handles for 4th Gen Tacoma (by Carlimeki) – What Do You Want to See?

I am not interested in drivers side. I would love a "real" grab handle for passenger side. I've had many passengers complain, especially my wife. Price. <$150 for good quality, OEM appearance. I would certainly consider off road rugged or leather, I've got plenty of other non OEM mods, so no...
  3. Toyota accessory survey

I just started getting emails after I bought the truck.
  4. Toyota accessory survey

Just remembered that they asked about converting to full time 4wd for $900. I would absolutely get the front locker.
  5. Toyota accessory survey

My survey was a little different. It was an onboard air compressor like what comes on halo trucks, although it didn't mention a brand like ARB. It also had a storage tray that sat in the box (as wide as the box and about 20" deep)but could slide out onto the tailgate when it was down. I usually...
  6. [CLOSED] Father's Day Giveaway – Win a Side Bed Molle Panel for Your Tacoma!

Dad had an F250 supercab we would take hunting and fishing. We had the big truck camper on it. It went all over the place. Lots of bologna sandwiches, donuts and soda pop. Lots of pheasants and walleye brought home too. Good times.
  7. Toyota should offer something like the off roadeo

I guess that's what I meant. It would include Pro's and Trailhunters. Sport and SR5 don't have a locker or MTS, right? I know you can't get the SDM on those. I understand that a Tacoma is intended to be useful for more than off roading. A Bronco is a bit more singular that way. Nevertheless...
  8. Toyota should offer something like the off roadeo

My friend bought a new bronco and a perk that came with it was a free class called the " Off Roadeo." It is offered in several places in the US. My friend wanted to do it in Moab and invited me along. It was very enjoyable. Ford does a good job with it. The instructors and the trails were...
  9. 35s on stock wheels?

Thank you for the correction. I was going with what the tire dealers were telling me. They actually came out and looked at my truck too. It was 2 places that told me the same thing. Good info. Thanks again.
  10. 35s on stock wheels?

You can't go wider than a 10.5 inch tire without a different rim or adding spacers.
  11. 35s on stock wheels?

And OEM rims are actually 7.5 inches wide. PIZZA CUTTERS UNITE!
  12. 35s on stock wheels?

Mickey Thompson 255/85r17 are compatible with 6.5 to 8 inch wide rims according to their website. Also no rubbing.
  13. 35s on stock wheels?

    No trimming at all.
  14. 35s on stock wheels?

FYI: I'm looking for an additional TRD off road rim for a spare.

  16. 35s on stock wheels?

I also have images on a thread here. I will find it and attach. Anyway, the Mickey Thompson tires are great, I highly recommend. I do have a 3 inch lift in the front with 1 inch in the rear leveling kit
  17. Wave Maker is the new 2026 Tacoma TRD Pro Color [Video Added]

Whenever I see something in a color like this I say to my kids, "That's a good color for a jeep"
  18. Wave Maker is the new 2026 Tacoma TRD Pro Color [Video Added]

That is perhaps the worst color I have ever seen. I don't mean to be rude, or start a debate over something as subjective as color. But I really hate it. Just my opinion.
  19. Tacoma TRD Off-Road Build with Mickey Thompson 255/85r17 on stock wheels and 3" inch leveling kit

I have not yet. I will get a spare that size before I go to Moab again. I did research, I'm planning it will work. I am keeping my eyes open for an extra OEM wheel to match what I already have because the tire will have to ride in the box and not underneath. You know, looks nicer, kinda vain.
