What made you decide to go with the Trailhunter 18” wheel and a 265/70, instead of the SR5 stock 17” wheel with 275/70? Do the Bilstein 5100s level the truck or did you have to do that separately with some other kit?

I watched the video by Overland Outfitters. Those Bilstein 5100s are impressive. How do ya’ll think the Bilstein 5100s compare in performance to the stock suspensions on Trail Hunter and TRD Pro?

Yeah, I baby my truck and drive like a grandpa. I feel like with 4 cylinder engine, mpg should be better.

How the heck do you get 25 mpg? According to the truck I average 18, but on some commutes I’ve gotten 24. Most of the time on my commutes I get 19-21. City not highway.

Texas. Thanks for the offer but I don’t think I’m ready to upgrade the suspension right now. Has anyone noticed that on the stock suspension that little bumps on the road seem to be more jarring then they should be for a truck designed for off-roading?

This is awesome. I’ve thought about going narrow with thicker sidewalls like this to get to 33”. So would this give you more ground clearance than 265/70 R17s? I wonder which would better for mpg and maintaining a factory drivetrain feel.

Any issues with rocks chipping your paint when you go wider to a 265 or more? Has your mpg changed when you went from 245s to 265s?

Are the OR take off suspensions just factory OR suspensions that people take off to upgrade? How much was your 5100s and level? I like the look of leveling too. Are the 5100s better then the stock OR suspension?
