That's great. I literally just had this issue fixed today. But in my truck was a bad ABS Speed sensor. Shop that lifted my truck left the wire loose and as I drove it, friction with metal made a cut to the wire. That turned on the exact same lights as yours.
So finally after 2 weeks my truck is running warning light free. Turns out that my drivers side abs speed sensor was loose and it was rubbing against metal. It made a small cut in the wire. I took it to a local repair shop and they soldered the wire as temporary solution while I get the new one...
I have an appointment Monday at a different Toyota Dealer. I am scheduled with an advisor that has a 25 lifted Tacoma as well. Hopefully he helps out.
In my area most service advisors are trained to blame everything on mods.
I took it to the shop that did the lift but they don't want to cover it because the problem didn't occur till 1 week later. My local Toyota dealer doesn't want to cover it either because they blame everything on the lift.
So They recalibrated everything and now they're telling me that it's the speed sensor. They're saying that my truck needs a longer one. Has anyone had this issue?
Not yet. I have an appointment next week with a guy that replaces windshields. He has the ADAS equipment. So I'll see if that works. If so, much cheaper than Dealer.
Hello guys,
I installed the Rough Country 2" M1 Shocks and Upper control arms. These lights came on 1 week after installation. Truck had a 1.5 Leveling kit before and lights never turned on. Took it to dealer and they want $240 for a diagnostic.
could this happen due to the lift?
Thanks..
