I'd try number 2 or even 3 on the shocks and raising up the air pressure to 32-35psi.
The way your truck is setup right now, it's setup to be as soft and compliant as possible. Like ride washboard for 8+ hours straight. Bet you it feels like a boat or an old 60's car.
It might be the difference between fitting a car seat or not. I was ready to sign the paperwork for a new Tacoma but decided to test my backward facing car seat before signing and I was missing an inch and a half of space so that my wife could be in the passenger seat while the car seat was in...
If you want to load your atv in the bed, buy the 6 foot bed. I have a 5 feet bed and your tires will stay on the tailgate with the risk of bending it. It will also distribute the weight better and you will squat way less than with a 5 foot bed.
IMO, if you're considering a 6 foot bed, do not...
I would not expect different bed length in 2025 from those two. Nissan expanded their 6 foot box offering to more trims for 2025. You would probably be happier in a Nissan than the new Tacoma.
Could you explain why? Except the front locker, TRD Pro looks to be finaly on par with the competition, it even has a sway bar disconnect, with only the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon having it as well.
@Fattirz in NC From all the videos, they addressed the seating position issue. I might jump into a tacoma for my next truck. A TRD-Offroad with crew cab and 6 foot bed looks mighty nice right about now.
Here's the latest teaser from Toyota: "Off-road ability meets on-road performance. The all-new 2024 Toyota #Tacoma is coming soon... ? @fox#TacoTuesday #LetsGoPlaces"
Maybe it's from the TRD PRO.
