TLDW; still don't know the problem. They are getting it on the lift and rollers first before taking it to dealer. Not a good week for Toyota. 700K vehicles recalled, almost 400K of them being 3rd gen Tacomas... and now this.

Does that mean that west coast typically gets it faster on average? I dont know how Canada seems to have gotten them so quickly. Even one in Puerto Rico.

Better a hold than a mass recall post delivery I guess. When you say you have never seen this many vehicles on quality inspection all at once. How many are we talking about here? Are you able to see all of them?

Came across this post on FB. Unfortunately it seems even the Toyota dealership guys have no extra info than any of us, but at least the FI "freight status, hold for inspection" makes more sense now. Surely someone must know what the hold up is.

Do you have a mockup or photoshop of what the color matched fog lamp bezel would look like? I feel like that will work well on some colors and not on others.

Wheels and lift first. But definitely would like to see better roof racks than the OEM one and a tonneau cover.

Good to see some crossover with 3rd gen parts. We already know the wheels situation will not be but if bed products mostly are that opens up a lot more possibilities out the gate.
