    Yes. The automatic transmission does it when the truck is pitched uphill.

    Hi, It's an incline hold feature when the transmission is in drive it raises ther idle to keep you from rolling backwards when you transition from brake to throttle on a hillside. It's in the owner's manual. Cheers, PO
