Seems the 6735 lbs weight rating in the Pro and TH build sheets was even slightly lighter than the GVWR in the manual which is showing 6780 lbs for the Pro and 6835 for the TH 5' bed.
Not according to Ford! I came across the Ford Maverick sales stats and found it funny that they're trying to cast the Mav as a midsize in order to claim sales superiority over the Taco. Hmm what does that make the Ranger then 🤔...
Ford also although I think they shut down COTUS. I haven't been in that world in a while. I think the OEM's prefer it that way, the more info you have on holds, delays, etc just leads to speculation and panic. It's a good thing we have Steve looking out for people here. I have not seen this...
Let us know how this goes. I'm curious if anyone here has bought from OP yet. Seems legit but looking for first hand feedback from someone here that there are no surprises.
Hmmm I think your dealer is mistaken. @Trainer Steve Clifford confirmed a few days ago there were no Pro or Trailhunter allocations yet that he could see at least in the NE. Also we've heard pretty consistently that hybrid isn't being made until April.... and the allocations sheet doesn't show...
BREAKING NEWS: 5th Gen Tacoma will be EVEN more expensive!! Collective gasp 🤣

That explains it well.
Maybe one size fits all is the wrong way to put it. But it's a total top down, take it or leave it approach.
I've owned both so yea I've given them both my money. I prefer Toyota trucks over Ford because of reliability and value/resale. I'm not sure why it matters that Toyota has the best selling midsize truck. That doesn't prove they have a superior 'ordering' system or that it doesn't suck (which...
