TRD Pro money for a TRD Off-road. I bet you the OP paid more for a lesser trim in 2024.

Toyota really dropped the ball on these new Tacomas..... 70k for a vehicle that has a hood without any sort of vibration testing.

There have been dozens of posts about various failures with the stock drivetrain. The jury is still out on the hybrid platform. Ideally the 2025 might address some of these issues. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw a price drop for 2025 as well. If not a price drop, more incentives.

I have had a TRD Pro on order for the past two months and the delivery date keeps getting pushed out. At this point I'm wondering if I should just cancel the order and wait for the 2025 model year..... They usually come out in Octoberish which is only 3 months away. What is everyone's thoughts...

It seems like this is the general consensus…. I would’ve done the same. Honestly with how much R&D Toyota put into the seats, I doubt they remove them from the TRD Pro for some time.

Honestly this is unacceptable for a new truck. Really questioning Toyota reliability nowadays.... Keep a log of EVERYTHING. Start looking into lemon laws for your car.

Historically has the TRD Pro received the promo discounts as well? Considering getting one in my area, but if I can wait a few months and save some money I will.

Typically the top models are exempt from the promotions though right? So the TRD Pro/Trailhunter and potentially the limited wouldn’t see any change?

The majority of the vehicles that are on the lot near me, have very few “bells and whistles”. It seems that the trucks sitting on the lot are the base models with little to no options. If I am going to be spending close to 50k on a truck, I don’t want cloth seats lol.

I really hope so! I guess it is also possible that since the TRD Pro is likely available on the latter half of this year in mass that they are selling it as the 2025 model year.
