This is what I was afraid of they wouldn't provide any protection on the trails. Bit of a bummer that we have to pay for these if we want the premium package in Canada.

The Canadian Off-Road Premium comes with running boards. Does anyone know how these are mounted? I was hoping they are frame mounted and not body-mounted.
