So I've had my truck since March 2024...Every so often usually when accelerating up a hill or when I press the gas on cold morning I will get an exhaust type smell like burning oil or exhaust smell... I'm only at 12k miles but I'm trying to avoid going to Toyota... Also I know these trucks let...

It has alot to do with the tires... My mileage is worse than last year when I had the stock tires... Now running 285 70 17 also and avg 14 mpg.... Temps have been between 0°-20°f....so I'm usually warming up the truck for at least 10 mins.... Mostly short trips 10-20mi at a time

Ok I know this is a stupid question... But when I put new wheels and tires I didn't replace the spare... I'm just wondering what people have done... Carry extra oem lugs, buying a 5th aftermarket method wheel or will the spline lugs fit?

I have 285 70 17... It makes a big difference in the looks... My transmission is also jerkey... I'm in the TSB range... It seems to smooth out after it's warmed up but I always get a jerky 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd studder....It definitely drives different than other vehicles I've owned...bigger...

Besides what's been mentioned... I also have a window rattle when the drivers window is cracked open... Bed rail lifting, windshield (cowl) gasket crease.... Also I wish I didn't let them wash mine... My stomach sank when they brought my truck up and they said they washed it for me...

I've noticed some people have left the stock control arms and you went aftermarket... Was there a particular reason you upgraded?... Truck looks great... These springs seem to lift the front end pretty good

Your saying this helps with the window rattle fix? Or was your rattle coming from the side mirror?

Ya these are awesome sliders... They seem to wipe clean easily. And the chip protection is awesome so far... My only regret was not buying them sooner before last winter when my fenders and Doors got chipped up... Now when I'm driving I will here a loud ding....Saving my paint one rock at a time 😀

Are the courtesy lights the ones on the doors? When you open the fronts? I don't see anything on rear doors? Seems weird some models just have reflectors but maybe I'm confused... Where are the "courtesy" lights located?

I think the lugs needed are 14x1.5 for the 4th gen...
