I had a Stillen on before, but could not stand the drone on the highway. Everything else I like about it. I really wanted to do the Magnaflow Overland, but it didn't fit the hybrid and they gave no answer on if they would make one on the hybrid. I think for now, this TRD is my best option until...
I didn't install yet, but hopefully this weekend if the weather holds out. I'll come back with the verdict. I would hope a little deeper than stock with no drone.
Hey all, I have this posted in another thread, but I thought I'd make it more easily accessible for anyone looking.
I have a TRD Offroad hybrid and was looking at the TRD center pipe and rear pipe assemblies. I couldn't find an answer to the differences in the midpipe, so just decided to buy...
So for anyone interested, I just bought the TRD muffler for comparison purposes. They allowed me to return it if I decided not to use it. It is identical the stock center pipe assembly, however on the inside, it is infact a bit different. Haven't had the chance yet to install though.
The weirdest part was I took a VIN from a TRD Pro listed for sale online to Toyota dealership, and the part number they gave me for the center pipe muffler was different that the TRD part mentioned as well. Makes no sense.
I can't seem to find a good answer to this? I am looking at getting the TRD muffler back pipe section(PT226-35241-02) which from what I can tell in this forum, will directly swap onto my TRD offroad hybrid. What I can't figure out is what the heck the TRD center pipe(PT226-35240) actually is...
So it seems Borla has finally released their cat back system for the 4th Gen. They posted a video of the sound from outside, but failed to post a video of how it sounded from inside the cabin, you know, where we will hear it most of the time.?
Anyway, just wondering if anyone has installed this...
I keep getting told by others with the SE/HD that it doesn't matter about the loss of bed because if those rare instances come up, you strap said couch on top of the cover lol.
Also a good point someone made to me..with this style, you have an excellent excuse not to help others move with your...
Excellent! Thank you so much for doing that!
Excellent! Thank you so much for doing that! Looks like it also keeps the bed rails intact? If I may ask, which bin did you go with? That's actually one of the main selling points for me.
Odd question to anyone running the Diamondback HD or SE on their short bed. With the static center beam that supports the two panels, are you still able to put lumber angled down towards the cab(tailgate up), without the static beam being in the way?
Hope that makes sense.
Weird
Odd question. Assuming you have the 5ft bed? Just curious if when you open the rear panel, could you fit a fair amount of lumber tilted into the bed with the tailgate up? The fixed center section on that cover makes me concerned in that area, especially with only a 5 ft bed.
