What about EKR on amazon, is it cheaper on their official website?
Ive never had an issue & their customer support is great if you find issues during the install....
I have EKR covers on my 24 taco & 25 f150...
Maybe....
I wasnt an AC guy....
I do recall my AC guys hammering on compressor clutches pretty hard with a rubber mallet though...
Worse case, remove the fan so you can get more swing, you will have to look at it...
So youre out of warranty???

im not reading all this.....
I had the chirp in my previous sr5 & now my sport.
Had the compressor replaced under the tsb & all has been find for about 4 months now?
TSB came out just as I was parking at corporate.
I have a good relationship with the shop. foreman at my dealer & been a tech...
As I stated, I didnt pull the driveshaft as instructed, didnt touch it at all...
I secured everything with all 4 tires flat on level ground.
Did use a floor jack on the trailer hitch cross bar just to go up some while the swap took place, from there I dropped it.
I didnt get a good side profile look, but from my pics im not seeing much thread left at the end of the studs which would equate to the washers being a good idea....
I torqued mine to 27 ft lbs as stated, I truly torqued everything....
Not the best pics but theres no marks on the U plates showing indication / witness marks that theres movement...
The studs are stationary so if the plates have been shifting since March, I think I would see some halos.....
I ordered from e-trailer, ironhide got his from summit, doesnt really matter....
heres something you will absolutely scratch your head about.
I spoke to Andrew the lead fabricator / engineer at hellwig to get clarification.
You need to center the bar before lightning everything down.
Trying to...
You found additional info online with poor results from this bar on the 4th gen?
If so, share...
Also Kevin at hellwig is WORTHLESS!!!
Thats probably who you dealt with, he's a waste of a paycheck.
Andrew is the man, he's been there 30 years & is the lead designer & knows his stuff.
I dont want...
Dont think he ever showed the failure......
Surprised to see a inner timing cover, hopefully that doesnt turn into a cluster fuck, another source of a leak..
I got a feeling this thread will go no-where but per HW, they sold a few hundred SB's for the 4th gen, so theyre out there....
Hoping to get some feedback to see if im crazy behind my thoughts.....
Ok, hear me out.
I installed a rear hellwig sway bar on my 4th gen.
Strictly trying to eliminate as much body roll as possible.
Just want this to be a discussion about the 4th gen, not your experience with the bar on the 3rd gen, thats different...
Anyone running a HW sway bar on their 4th...
There is a concern on these for just a quick chirp from the ac compressor during cold start, but thats not what you have...
Sounds like its ready to implode, cant imagine they cant find that....
Could be anything, thats where the mechanics stethoscope comes into play.
What scares me about...
