The instructions don’t get that in-depth. I attached the last page of the install instructions. I’ve seen it done a few different ways on instagram. I ran it through a crevice in the door jam and the engine hood. See attached.
Not quite. But it wasn’t that bad.
- Remove Panels
- Drill two holes into each mirror (using the template provided with the harness).
- Secure mount using hardware provided
- Run each light to your power source (I’m using an 8 Panel Switch Panel)

Hood, doors and tailgate done ✅ Installing some ditch lights then I’ll take it for a spin. But by knocking on the areas lined with the deadening , you can tell the difference. I have zero desire to take the seats out or headliner 😂
Good point here. Honestly, I went too dark with mine. It’s pretty tough to see at night. I also plan on getting a topper soon. Which will make it even more difficult.
Thank you, looking forward to that. I’ve got a roof rack and I’m looking to kill some of the wind noise. Though it’s not bad (especially with music on), cutting down on some of it would help.
Same, mostly driving. To be honest I didn’t even think about the positioning of the lights. Just wanted them flush like you said. You may be able to get alittle more pitch downward. But not much. I’m looking at the photos from when I installed mine (see photo) Also, my S2’s aren’t the DOT SAE...
