The cover uses the tie down rails as a mount for the side rails, was very easy to install

I sits about 1/2 to 2/3 on top of the rails. I think it gives it a decent finished look. I have no issues with water leaking, maybe a few drips during heavy rain but certainly nothing major.

With the fob in the truck, did you happen to touch the drivers or passenger door handle?

I just let it expire, it's been 6 or 7 months since and I haven't missed it one bit. 15 a month is not worth it, maybe 79 a year.

Limited Slip Rear Diff

I installed 4in nerf bars on my 24 Sport, I really don't use them to step into the cab, however my wife needs them. One advantage is they help prevent door dings from other vehicles.

After my 3 month trial, they offered me $5 a month for a year, after the year was up I got an email saying the rate was going up to $24.95. Got online with them to cancel and was offered $7.57 a month for a year, so I went for that. Seems like you'll get a better deal by calling to cancel.

I had water sloshing in the rear passenger door, I figured it was just a stopped up drain hole. I was surprised to see plugs in the drain holes. I saw somewhere online that toyota said to just pull the rear plugs on each door if you have water issues. I just pulled all of them, can't imagine why...

I had the BSM update and not experiencing any issues, just curious where is the plug located? I would like to double check mine.

Toyota does have a TSB to reprogram the BSM which is the cause. I had my TRD Sport in the dealer back in January and had them do the reprogram. So far no issues. One thing I have found is to make sure you turn the vehicle off prior to disconnecting the trailer. Another annoying feature is that...

Yeah, no TPMS in the spare, I'm sure you can purchase one, but I don't have a clue how you could enter into the TPMS system. It would be nice to be able to rotate the spare with the other tires and get more mileage from a set of tires.

Just had my 24 TRD Sport in for it's 10k service. At 5k, they did the TSB update, Apparently there is a newer version, so they updated that at 10k. I haven't had any issues since the 5k update and hope that the newer version will be the same.

I found mine under the rear seat in the storage compartment

Went to open the passenger side rear door on my TRD Sport and notice a sloshing sound. So I assumed the door drains were clogged, I've had this happened with previous vehicles, no big deal. I then noticed that the drain holes had plastic plugs, pull them out and out came about a gallon of water...

I ordered a couple of stock pins, Part No.: PT228-0C231, from ToyotaPartsDeal.com. I have a couple of receiver hitches and keep one with each of them. Then were pretty inexpensive, like 6 bucks each, although shipping added about 10 bucks.
