Visit dealer as soon as you can. I had the same issue with AC blowing hot air at low speeds or stopped at light then I got coolant overheating warning that went away. When I got home I checked under radiator it was spilling water everywhere. Visited dealer asap and they said It was disconnected radiator fan from previous visit getting 10k mile service.
This is pretty much exactly what I thought happened to me. I can't confirm the dealer unplugged it. I can't think why they'd do that but I was getting those overheating messages too. Hopefully it's no long-term damage but I guess we'll have to see.

I had my '24 Sport in for the 10K service (I've got just over 8,300 and didn't want to wait) last week. My AC was great. Like others, I had to turn it up - 75 degrees felt good. I always run in normal mode and drive it like a Prius. After the service, it was a 90+ day and very humid, I could tell right away something was wrong. It was struggling to cool the cab. When at idol, it would blow warm air. It had never done that before. Made an appointment for this morning and have already picked it up and all is well.

Generally, the explanation from the dealer was the AC was fine but the cooling fan was not being commanded to turn on when the AC was on, so it wasn't turning the AC compressor on. It was in safety mode so it wouldn't overheat anything. They performed a PCM reflash to fix that (programming) bug and the glitch in the computer system. Everything is working fine now.

During the 10K service, they reprogrammed for the trailer blind spot service campaign. I'm guessing that they fixed that but then caused the AC issue. All is well, with no cost to me today. Hope this helps anyone else that may have a similar issue.

They didn't plug your fan back in when they did the BSM.

Yep - that has been reported before and definitely something to check. My AC works so well that I often have to set it at a higher temperature to not freeze me out.

Are you saying you think it was the plug issue vs the reprogramming issue described and they just made up an excuse?
That would be my guess, yes.

The BSM recall requires them to unplug the fan, and there are at least two reports (I think) of dealers not plugging them back in on here.

Honestly wouldn't surprise me too if the "PCM Reflash"meant they disconnected the battery lol.

Or I could be 100% wrong. Dealers aren't really known for being truthful though.

Totally agree. It's not just a coincidence that several people are reporting bad AC after this recall fix. Super unfortunate. Hopefully no one (including me 😆 ) has any permanent damage to their trucks because of a dumb oversight.

I had the BSM update and not experiencing any issues, just curious where is the plug located? I would like to double check mine.

I don't pull a trailer so I'm not giving a dealer opportunity to screw something up doing the BSM recall.
