I agree and the more that I think about it this may be the way to go. The fact that DK was able to nab a 30+ year retired Toyota guy that personally developed several of models suspensions while he worked at Toyota to run their R&D department is impressive. I’d like to see some more feedback...

I have and from what I have been told (by several shops) the price of this Trd kit + labor is not worth it when you compare it to what is out there. The aftermarket kits are simply just better minus the official Toyota warranty.

The trail runner kit is $2800 and comes with uca’s. I saw it on sale around $2300-2400 on Black Friday but I wasn’t ready. Tacomabeast has it $2500 with a coupon. With install I’d be over $3k I’d imagine Their long travel kit is the cats meow lol.

Yeah that’s one of my options. Have you heard of dirt king? Their R&D (at least from YouTube/tacomabeast) is rather impressive. They have a trail runner kit that comes with the UCA’S. ‘I definitely plan on ditching the pre collars and starting fresh.

I was okay with it as a 2nd vehicle but now that’s moved up to being my daily it’s just rough. Rough driving 1-2 hours a day that is. I think the pre collar lift has the factory bilsteins stretched out. When I purchased my truck I drove 7 hours straight home and it was fine. Now not so much.

Wescott pre collar with 285/70/17 +25 RRW wheels. Love the look for my off road but the ride is ehhh at best. Thinking about upgrading to the dirt king trail runner kit when it goes on sale.

I just got the recall done yesterday. Just a heads up before leaving the dealership make sure the key fob locks/unlocks etc and if you use the app to auto start…that it works properly.

Recently I got the OTT tune for my 24 off road hybrid and it’s like why would Toyota sell us a watered down version. This is how it should have came from factory. It rips and shifts way better!

Perfect timing. I’m looking at upgrading my off road hybrid to the dirt king trail runner kit. I will have to look into eibach.

check out dirt king. Tacoma beast / dirt king has a YouTube video that goes in depth with their products. Their R&D is legit

After messing with mine the TPMS seems to stay in place 99% of the time on the 3rd page but only on the left side

Those are the same. They must have switched up names. I got mine when they first came out. Love them! I’d reach out to them to confirm.

I’ve been wanting to do this tune for my hybrid but have heard mixed reviews. Is your tune set differently or just the standard stage 1? Idk if I’m even asking the right questions bc I’ve never done a tune.
