I got the OTT tune on my hybrid around 10k miles. Pissed I didn’t get it earlier. It absolutely rips and shifts smoothly. Why would toyota sell us such a watered down version.

I went back and forth between eibach and dirt king for several months. Then on Memorial Day I found a killer deal on the OEM Trd lift kit. Too hard to pass up.

Wescott pre collar but Nitto ridge grapplers 285/70/17. I sold my OEM 18” wheels and went with RRW wheels 17x8.5 +25 offset. Zero regrets

Flew to Detroit and drove my 24 Trd off road hybrid premium 500 miles. They were the only one at the time not charging a dealership mark up. Zero regrets love my truck!

Check this place out for OEM diff oil. It is expensive but personally for me I’d use OEM.

So for those who have a hybrid and are interested in the eibach pro 2R lift kit, I spoke with a guy at eibach today and he told me that they have been working on a lift kit specifically for our hybrid models. Should be released end of May / early June.

It’s totally fine for local driving but not so much for the long run. Looks awesome though! I think my plan is to get the eibach pro 2R set up with some UCA’S and call it a day. Now I’m in the process of which UCA’S that I should get.

2024 with 13500 miles. I absolutely love this truck. My only gripe would be with how small the gas tank is.

The OTT Tune was the best mod outside of wheels/tires that I got on my 24 hybrid. 40+ hp and torque is huge for these mid size trucks

I agree and the more that I think about it this may be the way to go. The fact that DK was able to nab a 30+ year retired Toyota guy that personally developed several of models suspensions while he worked at Toyota to run their R&D department is impressive. I’d like to see some more feedback...

I have and from what I have been told (by several shops) the price of this Trd kit + labor is not worth it when you compare it to what is out there. The aftermarket kits are simply just better minus the official Toyota warranty.

The trail runner kit is $2800 and comes with uca’s. I saw it on sale around $2300-2400 on Black Friday but I wasn’t ready. Tacomabeast has it $2500 with a coupon. With install I’d be over $3k I’d imagine Their long travel kit is the cats meow lol.

I need to look into dobinsons. Send some pics / review when you get it all installed.

Yeah that’s one of my options. Have you heard of dirt king? Their R&D (at least from YouTube/tacomabeast) is rather impressive. They have a trail runner kit that comes with the UCA’S. ‘I definitely plan on ditching the pre collars and starting fresh.

I was okay with it as a 2nd vehicle but now that’s moved up to being my daily it’s just rough. Rough driving 1-2 hours a day that is. I think the pre collar lift has the factory bilsteins stretched out. When I purchased my truck I drove 7 hours straight home and it was fine. Now not so much.
