Yeah they're stupid money. They do have an option with black lettering that looks pretty subtle. https://merakiautoworks.com/products/rally-armor-2024-toyota-tacoma-black-ur-mud-flap-w-metallic-black-logo
Definitely message Josh @MERAKIAUTOWORKS here on the site. They can save you some money. I...
Yes they are close. If you're running 35's I think you'll be rubbing. I'm on the stock setup and there's about 5/8" clearance at full lock. I really wanted a set of sliders from rekgen just for more clearance, but they haven't made a set for our trucks yet. They have them for gen 3 and they have...
Oh and don't order directly from them if you decide to get a set. Full price and they don't accept returns. Contact meraki autoworks here on the site, they'll hook you up
Agreed, they can also be adjusted outward another quarter inch or so, I just like them lined up with the flares. Only pic I have of the fronts on the truck.
No they're much bigger than OEM. The fronts measure approx 18.25" x 12.25" and the rears 19" x 11.25" I like the gloss because it matches my flares, they do seem to stay pretty clean. They are pretty flexible, I can't compare to RB or ARK but I attached a pic that shows the flex on the front
So I wanted to update this thread, I finally managed to get the rally armor flaps installed, though it was a pain and the rear drivers side still isn't perfect. Here's some pics. They look good, the black matches the fender flares and the red almost matches the paint.
The rear drivers side was...
I've had this one for years. But here's a link for a 2 pack of 1/4" drill extensions https://a.co/d/iBbuTPQ
And one for a 2 pack with 3/8" and 1/4" socket extensions https://a.co/d/aYbUdz6
I finally installed mine a couple weeks ago and found this flexible extension to be very helpful. Still hoping someone can figure out how to tie into the bed lights so these will fire when you unlock the truck
I disconnected the entire thing because the install called for it and electric scares me. Granted I ran my battery low because I didn't disconnect until I had basically finished and was ready to hook up to power, which was stupid. Negative terminal off first, then positive. Reverse that order...
Lol they're the Go Rhino/real truck boards, I may take some pics and post a thread to help others that may want to do it, the install directions were not ideal as they all picture 3rd gen Tacomas. From what I can tell, they are exactly the same as the Ionic and Westin boards, just at different...
Got it started, definitely low 12v battery. Trickle charged overnight and it fired right up this morning, no codes, so relieved! Thank you all for the replies! This may put me off doing any electrical upgrades in the future lol. Thought I bricked my baby!
These posts give me hope, it does seem to die completely after the initial round of lights and they say the hybrid batteries are nominally low anyway, around 12.2. I can't find my meter so I put it on a trickle charger and crossing my fingers it's just low. Thanks everyone, wish me luck
I installed power running boards on my 24 hybrid and now the truck won't start. I'm panicking, checked the manual before and IDK what to do now, any advice? I get power to the cluster, but when I press the brake and try to start it keeps saying parking brake unavailable
Yeah I'm using the spacers, but they don't do anything to help with the lip between the wheel well and the fender flare. Did you tighten that top screw down to bring them flush together? I don't understand how a flat bracket is is supposed to bridge that transition since it's not flat. Do you...
I haven't even tried the fronts because I can't get the rears on. My problem is with that flat metal bracket, I can't get it to sit flush with the 1/4" difference between the wheel well and the flare. Every time I get the top screw tight the bottom one pops out and vice-versa.
