Yeah I'm going to pick some of these up and see if it helps with my problem screw!

I would not be a happy camper to try and mess with my rigid's, they were a pain in my ass to get working, the hot glue is a fantastic solution I would sayI am replacing a rigid light this weekend bc of a warranty issue, and I just have a bad feeling it’s going to be stripped… at least it’s on the driver side. I have a glue gun I could use it it’s slightly stripper and that’ll likely be plenty.
I’m going to purchase these inserts so I can freely experiment with my mud flaps without being worried. I’ve got the OEM Canadian flaps I want to put on, but I’ve got to modify them to fit with my wider tires. Been putting it off solely bc of this stupid issue with the screw clips!
Dude … when I saw the crack in the glass of my rigid … I was so upset. It was SO hard to install. But again it’s on the driver side and John at SPV has been so freaking easy to work with.I would not be a happy camper to try and mess with my rigid's, they were a pain in my ass to get working, the hot glue is a fantastic solution I would say
The Aliexpress clips should have you sorted, they're hard to remove from the truck, I sorta pull the flat spot off the front and push them through, there isn't really any other way to do it
John helped me with two different harnesses, the 2024 and 2025 have different electrical systems it seemsDude … when I saw the crack in the glass of my rigid … I was so upset. It was SO hard to install. But again it’s on the driver side and John at SPV has been so freaking easy to work with.
On the removal of the clips … you basically break it off with a pair of plyers? Any risk of causing body damage?
I bought them, but they have a bulge that won't accommodate wider tires so I need to modify them.OEM Canadian spec. That’s what I bought.
Just trimmed the hemp down on mine used a sharp strong exacto knife. Pretty easy after they are removed off the truck. Also I actually personally have seen the front flaps off a canaDian 4Runner Pro and the bulge is not there ! Flap is the same without the bump.I bought them, but they have a bulge that won't accommodate wider tires so I need to modify them.

So I wanted to update this thread, I finally managed to get the rally armor flaps installed, though it was a pain and the rear drivers side still isn't perfect. Here's some pics. They look good, the black matches the fender flares and the red almost matches the paint.![]()

The rear drivers side was the worst one. You can see how the top screw isn't really seated fully, and the foam spacer isn't sized properly IMO. Of course this was the one I originally started with and the one that gave the most trouble.![]()
The rear passenger went on easier though I still couldn't get the top screw to grab with the included washer, so I ditched it. Note the spacer, DO NOT over tighten the screws over the foam spacers, they're not gaskets, they are there simply to fill that space. The fronts went on ok, though I found it easier to turn the wheels towards the opposite side of the truck for access. There's this space that bothers me in the front but I'm over it, just glad to finally have something on there.![]()

No they're much bigger than OEM. The fronts measure approx 18.25" x 12.25" and the rears 19" x 11.25" I like the gloss because it matches my flares, they do seem to stay pretty clean. They are pretty flexible, I can't compare to RB or ARK but I attached a pic that shows the flex on the frontAre these effectively "high clearance" flaps that don't take more room than the OEM flaps?
Also, is that super shiny gloss for making them easy to clean? I would prefer matte, but maybe this has an advantage.
Lastly, I hear these are more flexy than the RokBlokz or ARKs. I need flexibility when driving over terrain so they don't tear off.
They’re big but don’t look goofy. Got a pic of the fronts ?No they're much bigger than OEM. Agreed, they can also be adjusted outward another quarter inch or so, I just like them lined up with the flares. Only pic I have of the fronts on the truck. They’re big but don’t look goofy. Got a pic of the fronts ?
Wow - good to knowOh and don't order directly from them if you decide to get a set. Full price and they don't accept returns. Contact meraki autoworks here on the site, they'll hook you up
