This was the solution. You have to push this button first before being able to cruise. Makes sense since it is the cruise button 🤣

Hi and sorry I am such a newb! So I keep trying to set the cruise control but it says consult owners manual. Does the same thing on the adaptive cruise control. I did consult the manual and still had no luck... anyone have some tips for me? This is a 6 speed manual on an open road in the city...

Thanks so much. Yes we love it already. We had a 3rd gen TRD Sport 6MT and traded it in on this new 4th gen. So many great upgrades from 3rd gen. My wife drove it for the first time then said "the old Taco was yours but this one is mine" 🙋🏻‍♀️

$49K. this one has a premium package with sunroof and larger lcd screen. TRD Sport base package is more like $46K. FYI
