Almost 10K without regrets, I have driven nothing but manuals, and very pleased with my choice.
I personally do not think that it needs higher redline or more power. I did install AWE exhaust, which helped with some near redline issues.
They are not loud like the unburnt fuel get lit in the exhaust. I wasn't expecting them but I am glad for the bonus feature. I would also probably skip the exhaust, if I had an automatic, on the manual it is way too much fun 😊.
6MT owner with AWE. I had mine for about 3K miles now, first 500 miles were a little rough but once it broke in, I love the sound. Sure it's a louder past 80MPH, but who cares. I hated that my truck sounded like a vacuum cleaner with stock exhaust.
I don't know the specific numbers but I...
6mt owner here, mine has been essentially the same for about 6500 miles. It was a little bit grabby for the first thousand miles but now it's pretty good.
I wonder if you just need yours to be adjusted.
Nice truck:)
If you are going to off-road, I suggest some sliders. I was pretty impressed how far I got in my nearly stock TRD off-road, I agree with above about the tires.
Hi All,
i been coming here for a bit and had my Taco since November 2024, but never got around posting anything.
I got a manual TRD off-road that my friends dubbed the Olaf. I agree that there is some resemblance.
I came from driving cars, mostly VAG products, and trucks were not on the...
This really stinks for you guys.
This thread makes me feel like I won the lottery... my white one has got good paint... Although I scratched it up good when off-roading...
I have a manual Off-road, app said that there is a recall for it but the dealership told me that it's not applicable... I am guessing it's because they really haven't gotten any directions from Toyota.
I haven't experienced that yet but it barely got below zero here. In my experience first few hundred miles the clutch was a little grabby, but now it's been great.
