Just put these on, so far they seem good. They're on solid and the installation was simple. The youtube instructions include quite a few bolts that they no longer use, it's actually an easier install than the video.

Nice. I'm waiting on mine to show up in about a month. Ordered them last week.

I have to ask since you are familiar on the cost, are they worth it?

I was going to buy the running boards from Toyota when I bought the truck for about the same price as the caliraised. Since Toyota's were backordered it gave me time to research other options. These are definitely better than the ones Toyota would have sold me. I needed something (wife is short), she's happy with them. I am finding that I don't step on them personally, it's become habit getting in and out of the truck without them.

I'm only a few weeks in and it hasn't rained here so other than a single car wash, they haven't gotten wet. I'll keep and eye out and post if anything changes. Seems like something you might need to bring up with @caliraisedled.

:frown: A can of regular spray paint or the special bedliner kind? I'll have to really take a look at mine whenever they arrive.

Ordered mine about 8 weeks ago, and finally poked asking when I could expect to see them. They told me that they "got a new pipe bender" and they were expecting to "make mine in two weeks or so", which like, okay, sure? No proactive heads up if this is true, or maybe they lost/forgot my order and me poking them was a wake up call. I'll be pretty disappointed if the extra coating I paid for is paper thin spray can and not real powder coating.

True powder coating requires grounding, spraying, and baking the finish on, not a spray can:

To be fair, I ordered true "sliders" then changed them a few days later for steps, so it's possible that caused my order to enter some limbo state, as the original order was 'cancelled' and a new order (for just the difference in cost) was created. The customer service was great for that interaction, and they even gave me a discount since they new a sale was coming up soon.

Kudos on that interaction, but again, no proactive "hey, we got new equipment, this is awesome for us, but will result in a few extra days/weeks for your order, thanks for your patience, etc etc".

@Cali Raised LED can you comment on the powdercoating process you use? If not true baked on coating, I'd likely switch to RAW (assuming it's a less expensive option) and have them properly coated locally...

I ordered mine 2/4/25. Didn’t get them until 4/23/25.

Bummed to hear about the quality after a few months. I guess I’ll be keeping an eye on them now. šŸ˜”

I'm kind of in the same boat as you and got the same song and dance from them a few weeks ago when I asked what was taking so long. I ordered mine on the 17th of March and just got a shipping confirmation yesterday. A little over 11 weeks to ship them so it will probably be around 12 weeks by the time they arrive which is twice as long as they quoted. I do feel bad for the guy that got a bad set of powder coating but I hope he's the exception as I haven't heard anything else from anyone about any other defects and everyone seems to enjoy them.
