So for the money it looks like the RC kit including the plates is a very simple choice. I am not a fan of those oil bleeders so I would probably need to drop the plates for oil changes. Are there any other significant drawbacks to this setup or is it mostly appearance/ personal preference stuff??
A little trick I figured out was to put a string through the elastic and pull from the front of the seat to get them off the hook. That was the only way I could stretch them enough to get them back on
Installed mine yesterday. Hardest part was unhooking the existing back flap from under the drivers seat. Mine are the black and red piping and came from Amazon. Order to delivery was 6 days coast to coast.
I did not do the back seats as they are removed for my dog platform
"My question for the group is would seat covers ruin the original non-cloth seat material?"
Should be quite the opposite. Every set I have removed over the years protected the original covers.
Is the onboard Nav signal satellite based? I am planning a trip and there are places that the Cell will not work. Will the onboard system work without a cell signal?
The stock wheels on my T-100 were horrible that way. Several times I had to get a stick and push some of the mud off to make it drive able or it would feel like a Jeep Death Wobble.
This is going to be a hotel trip so there should be plenty of room inside the bed. Basically just a couple suitcases and the cooler. The cooler will be for drinks and munchies and lunch fixins. Breakfast will be at the hotels and dinners will be out. That Dometic is nice but a little out of...
I have been looking at these 12vdc/115vac food coolers for a summer time trip Coast to Coast and back (planning close to 3 weeks on the road). My concern is that it will be in the bed under a black Tonneau cover and I am wondering if anyone has operated one of these in those conditions. I am...
Living in the city Google works so much better in my mind. With the big screen I can see al the backups on my local roads at a glance. Plus it gives wreck and speed trap heads ups.
This is my 7th pickup over the last 50 years. Anything approaching 20 mpg is just fine by me but the tank size is an issue. I have several 900 mile days planned in August and I don't want to spend half of them looking for fuel stops. I do plan to carry 10 gal in the bed as insurance.
All the manufacturers are crazy about the frames. Wife has totaled two 2019 Wrangler Unlimiteds from what I considered very minor collisions. Neither was her fault and she walked away from both. The one had a small crack in a frame weld I could have easily fixed in my garage with my mig...
