Trying to find out if anyone does a seat cover for the extended cab (2 door) SR5. The drivers seat matches most seat covers advertised for the 4Gen but the passenger seat in the extended cab is completely different. The seat actually folds to make a work bench making the truck a one person...
I am sort in the other group, being probably much older than most of the others in this group I find something that would slow the opening (drop) of the tailgate might be nice. Even though the tailgate is light it falls fast with a bang if you donāt slowly lower it. Lifting it is not a problem...
Yes the passenger seat folds completely down to a work station of some type. I have included some more pictures of the passenger seat. The drivers seat is exactly like yours and the others.
backside work station Note how much shorter the backrest is from the drivers seat backrest.

Kielly, thanks for the write up. It answered one of my problems but didnāt solve my issue. My SR5 extended cab(basically a 2 door Tacoma) has two different models of seats. I ordered from Amazon for the SR5 extended cab - which was listed as just two front seats. My passenger seat is...
I ordered and received the EKRcovers through Amazon. They came and were very nice but did not fit. I have an SR5 extended cab, not a 4 door. Basically a 2 door and the Amazon package was just the front seats and labeled SR5 front.. I am not sure but I am beginning to think my truck is a mutt...
Ok, got it figured out. That center lever for up and down needs to be pumped. For every time you lift the lever up it raises your knees and lowers your but. Pushing it down lowers the knees and raises the but. Every push lowers or raises about 1/4 inch. You have to push it multiple times to...
nurp42, I have the setup just as you describe. The electric lumbar button then the next lever seems to do nothing for me. it will lift up or push down but nothing seems to change than the last lever does the recline. I will investigate the middle lever some more next time I am in the truck.
Will check next time I am in the truck. From memory I have three levers. 1) forward and backwards. 2). Reclines or tips the back forward And backward. ( This is an extended cab not 4 door) 3) the up down button that just seems to inflate the back forward more support. But I will both check...
I am only 5ā 10ā and I canāt get my seat low enough to feel comfortable. I am almost hitting my head on the roof when I get in and donāt like the seat way back because then my arms are almost straight to reach the steering wheel but moving it closer has my knees hit the underside of the...
My dealer just said two years of free oil changes he did not attach a millage to it. I take my wifeās Prius in every 5K miles. It is rated at 10K miles for oil change but they do a vehicle check and tire rotation for free At 5K. That will stop when we hit the two year mark.
besquaremtb I did by unseen and I will live with my purchase. I have had multiple Toyotas and this was my fourth Tacoma. I was mostly upset with the salesman and myself for assuming the 4th gen would be similar to the previous generations, my mistake. I found yesterday I also missed something...
I took my 2016 Tacoma in for work and got talked into a 2025 Site unseen. I have no use for 4 doors so wanted an extended cab like my 2016 With a 6 ft bed. I should have done my due diligence better. I had no idea that extended cab was just two doors until after it arrived and I was already...
You could probably zip tie it but it just a big loop of heavy cable taken up Space. You will still need to remove and replace some wires on the trailer As part of the install. The CURT controller is a simple just plug in controller but I was not totally sold on it after reading some of the...
Camperbunga, instead of cutting my cable from the trailer to the truck like they do in the video I plan to purchase a new cable at Tractor Supply or a RV dealership and cut that one up and save the one I remove from the trailer in case I ever want to revert to the old setup or replace the traile.
Does every Gen 4 Tacoma version come with a Digital Key Card or just certain accessories versions? My extended cab (2 Door) SR5 did not come with one or the salesman just did not give it to me.
Camperbunga, I have not purchased the Prodigy yet but that is my current plan. I am waiting until spring because I pull an 18 ft equipment trailer to take my antique Tractors to shows and with snow on the ground here there are no shows until summer. I am focused on the Prodigy because as I...
Sagebrush, no I am not 100% sure because I did not try it myself. I just read a bunch of reviews. I know you can have multiple apps running at the same time on the iPhone. If you are using CarPlay and are displaying your gps route and you need the brake controllers app you have to switch apps...
Not sure what the advantage is to a brake controller hardwired into the vehicle. I went to my dealer and they ripped the dash apart looking for a connector and they gave up and recommended the CURT 51180 Echo. I researched the echo and it does have some advantages and itās low cost, but I did...
My dealer after tearing everything apart trying to find a connector to install a Toyota Brake Controller gave up and recommended this Bluetooth controller; CURT 51180 Echo. Itās an interesting option but after reading the reviews it had a couple of things I did not like. I am leaning towards...
