yes I tried the reverse one first since that’s what I was using in the 4R. If I kill the switch with the fob and then turn it to on and try to start it seems like it’s trying but it won’t actually start the engine
how many pins were on the 41.22 relay that you installed? I had their kit on my 2025 4Runner gas and moved it over to my 2026 Tacoma hybrid today but can’t get it to start after I test the kill function (after pressing on on the key fob)
Well I couldn’t find any fuse so did the next best thing and just found the plug under the seat that disables the seat switches. I’ll unplug this each time I bring it in for service, etc. Can’t leave it disconnected though since it disconnects the cooled and heated seats also.
Does anyone happen to know where (or even if there are) fuses for the power seats? I hate when I find the perfect position and then someone moves it. Lack of memory seats is annoying!
I didn’t get a physical manual with mine (it’s incoming) so couldn’t check there.
Thanks!
Mine is still doing it in the summer heat - if anything it’s been worse (maybe the ventilated seats aren’t helping)
I’m used to it now though and since I know dealers won’t bother to try and fix it I will just live with it for now
I tried adjusting the lumbar support to every setting to see if I could find one that silenced it… not only did none of them work but I’ve made the issue worse! It’s VERY noticeable now and in stop-and-go traffic it’s VERY annoying.
yes exactly - creaking. At first I thought it was the “leather” but doesn’t seem like it. It’s definitely more noticeable mid back area. Need to figure out how to reproduce it at will and then bring it to dealer.
