I would also wait for a full grip version. The OEM grab slot just doesn't cut it. As far as appearance is concerned, I would expect the materal used, style, and appearance to match OEM quality.
I actually have the skills to make such harnesses and even much more complicated ones. Many years ago on one of my first jobs, I worked on Grumman F-14 electronics, wiring components, cables, and haness. I helped build many thousands of those awesome jet fighter components back in that day...
I had a GMRS radio, not a Ham day myself with my new Cali Raised Dash Mount. I placed my Midland GMRS radio and custom mounted the Midland Mini Speaker on the dash mount. It already installed and will post final photos soon.
I don't know which Fang lights you purchased, or what type, but I will make it simple. Just purchase a set of these and you can connect what you need with a supplied connector crimp to the already tapped jumper harness ...
Why not just wire it to the hot wire on the 3 pin headlamp harness? The ground and the signal power is there too. Then all your DRL's will work with the other OEM DRL lighting? That is what I did, and it works well with a bunch of DRL lighting I added.

Those are the ones I bought and believe will work according to reports by others, but I can't verify it yet since I am still waiting for my SXTH adapter. Those are high quality bolts. I also bought a bag of nuts to go with them just in case I might need it and I know for sure that they match...
I have seen similar messages when the battery is very low. Put a maintainer on the battery. Disconnect the negative terminal for a few minutes and then reconnect. This charger has been working great for me in AGM mode, but there are many others out there: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082G1N2T7
I was wondering the same thing. Before making a purchase I would make actual measurements of my current OEM battery and area to be sure it would fit. Since they do work with Toyota directly, I would hope they would know all there is to know, but I would check first to be sure. These things...
I don't drive every week, and I have 3x in the last 2 months found a dead battery with around 2.7v. I charged it with a regular charger to get it to around 12.6v and then it started and ran fine after that. That cheap basic charger never really said it was full even after 2 days of charging...
They are not cheap. Granger has them for $5.88 just for the bolt, but the minimum is a pkg of 10 plus tax and shipping. I have looked all over to find something cheaper, but those 10.9 class bolts in 140mm length are hard to find and expensive. While I was at it I also added a matching bag of...
