  1. Trailhunter rear seat delete by Goose Gear

A very valid point for the both of us. Pine trees and Jersey. Looking forward to spring for those vacation "Midwest views!"
  2. Oil change, is it even worth going to the dealer for the “free oil changes to 25k miles”?

Earlier this week I went back to my Alabama dealer in Sylacauga for the 25K. Those guys are great, get 7 free oil changes plus tire rotation and other stuff. One of my Rigid fog light lenses is flaking, they ordered a new one to the tune of $6?? something. Rigid is having a warehouse sale for...
  3. Trailhunter rear seat delete by Goose Gear

I saw this at Overland Expo, that stuff is high-grade
  4. Trailhunter rear seat delete by Goose Gear

Well, up to a point, that is when a roadtrip becomes something you look forward to. At least you do not live in Northwest Florida where most everything is flat in pine forests with a few scrub and naval oaks, and where the trail difficulty is rated by how deep the mud hole is after the most...
  5. Trailhunter rear seat delete by Goose Gear

I just did a quick view with OnX Offroad screen shot and there are ALOT of places close to Jersey. BTW, Merry Christmas to all!
  6. Trailhunter rear seat delete by Goose Gear

I'm really liking this, because I own the full product line of Onward, headrest, back of front seats, and full back seat. I have hesitated about Goose Gear, but I think I am a GO, now that I see what that would look like with the Onward. GoFastDan looks good also.
  7. What did you do TO / WITH your 4th gen Tacoma today?! 👨‍🏭 🧰 📸

Yesterday Yotamafia installed Cali Raised fuel tank skid plate (I needed it-gouged the OEM plastic one), installed rear shock skid plates, and trailing arm skid plates. I installed ICS FAB Tacoma dash mount with BulletPoint mounting solutions camera adapter with mounting arms and 20mm ball mounts
  8. Oem light bar wiring question for TRD Pro + Trailhunter peeps

If you want a light bar that has a more useful beam, why swap out? Just add another light bar to AUX 1 and not worry about throwing codes. That OEM light bar aides not only in distance but to some extent out left and right. Sidebar: adding bright ditch lights will almost give 180 degrees out...
  9. Is this a normal amount of "jiggle" for an RTT? (see video)

I’m not pushing Kuat but this is an example of Yotota is talking about, it’s attached to the bottom of the rack that sits on the truck bed rail, it’s attached to the bed rail, and on the top there’s a bolt that drives down and pulls the rack to the top of the bed rail
  10. Is this a normal amount of "jiggle" for an RTT? (see video)

I wasn’t saying it was the clamshell of the tent. It’s the whole tent which is caught in turbulence. That’s why I was wondering if the tent wasn’t completely secure to the bed rack. But now you say, you can shake the whole thing, bed rack and tent. That shouldn’t happen. Well, you get what you...
  11. Oil change, is it even worth going to the dealer for the “free oil changes to 25k miles”?

NASCAR, I may have met that guy in Pensacola at the local dealer; instead of using a hand tool on my wheel locks, he used an impact wrench and stripped the tool socket key and the wheel lock. Had to wait two weeks for them to get in a new set of wheel locks so I can get my tires rotated at my...
  12. Is this a normal amount of "jiggle" for an RTT? (see video)

It’s not the rack, the tent is experiencing turbulence, it’s the way your tent is mounted, show a photo of the mounting underneath. As to the camera being blocked, you can purchase tent risers RCI metalworks sells them. Several other places sell them.
  13. Bed stiffeners incompatible with power tailgate

I have Cali Raised bed stiffeners on my 2024 trailhunter which has a power tailgate. What’s with that clip?
  14. Rear OEM Aux 15 amp only?

I spliced them then applied connectors
  15. Rear OEM Aux 15 amp only?

I had the same issue. I have a big light bar up on my roof rack and small chase lights in the back on the bed rack. So in the engine compartment where you plugged in, I switched the wiring of the 5a and the 15a rather than doing it in the back so I could control the specific auxiliary switches...
  16. Trailhunter Tacoma owning a trail

If any, tell me what affect the additional lift had on the front axles. I’m thinking about this as I carry a lot of added weight, Prinsu roof rack, two Roam boxes with gear, 8 gallon water tank, CBI front steel covert bumper with winch, and in the back have bed rack, rooftop tent, big fridge...
  17. Trailhunter Tacoma owning a trail

Oh, this is good stuff. The truck doing exactly what it was made to do. Sometimes off camber, rock crawling through mud and water. So a couple questions: I would think operating in 4 low, should not have needed rear diff locker, tires aired down to what?
