depends on the spacer type. if its a preload collar, then it increases preload on the spring which in turn makes for a more harsh ride. top hat spacers get rid of down travel so the shocks can top out over bumps and slam down.
Personally running RCI sliders. the Greenlane ones intrigued me because of weight savings, but if they're actually used as sliders, not sure how long an aluminum slider is going to hold up to repeated rock bashing.
the Dek will also be available through Diode Dynamics with a different light setup on the front. the Dek will also come with a non light setup on the front from Kuat
Just recently ordered some skids for my Tacoma TRD Sport and needed the TRD OR fuel tank straps for the fuel tank skid mounting. I paid for them from RCI but after receiving them they are just Toyota factory part numbers.
Part numbers needed are 77602-04100 and 77603-04010. they are both around...
they do look similar.
5100s would be an upgrade over base and TRD Sport shocks.
Also 5100s at the bottom setting are 1" of lift which is interesting. at least that's according to their site.
I reached out to Alldogs about these when they made a teaser post about having the 4G 5100s in stock. the perch sits higher on the 5100 so there should be a small amount of lift even at the bottom setting. length wise, the email states that there is less than a 1/4" difference in length between...
you add year, make, model, and part in the dropdowns. but when it shows the vehicles, you either look at the pictures that they have by the parts or just guess. a lot of times i will end up calling the salvage yards to double check when it says they have the part i'm looking for.
yes, if it's been hit in the rear then the bar should be fine. technically i just want one to see if you can activate the motor on it with a few wires and then use an aftermarket switch like a switch panel to control it.
installed the inserts today. went with Diode SS3 sports for the lights. very happy with fit and finish being 3d printed pieces. they will also offer the full production plastic inserts soon too.
here is a direct link to the pieces i installed...
you can buy the Diodes separately from the bumper inserts. i used the SS3 Sport lights, they retail for 279. they also have files for prints of other light companies so if there's one you don't see, you can reach out to them to see if they can print them for something else.
When you buy the...
they have a post on their IG of the SS3 mounts installed. I'm curious how running the wiring will be for it. i already had the OE pigtail wired for ditch lights so i will have to dissect it to add these.
I posted a pic of the SS3 Baja 686 bumper inserts but wanted to make a separate post for them.
Came across this company this month, they currently offer inserts for Baja Designs S1 lights and Diode Dynamics SSC1 lights.
They will have these SS3 inserts for sale later this month.
Overall...
