I told them the problems I was having so they sent me a new pipe and y pipe, I tried that and it still didn't fix it, I live in canada so they didn't want to ship it back they just sent me a refund, pretty much bug them till its fixed or you get your money back

Those were the same problems I had off and, I think the MAF area is the problem, and I would also check the vacuum lines from the grommet could be a problem a line could be kinked. I got my money back and I got the Sxth element intake so far works much better.

I put my sxth element intake on yesterday, and I put on the rear brake/signal/reverse light bar from toyota. Had the K&N 63 series intake but had problems with it so replaced with sxth element intake and works great

Well mine is a 6 speed manual so it would be interesting to see if someone else with a 6 speed manual is having thr same problem (manual doesn't rev as high as auto and boost changes probably happen more frequently in the manual due to having a clutch)

Looking more into this it sounds like alot of intakes have issue, even SXTH Element has this same problem with the GR Corollas and even catch cans

Yeah it's the burger motorsports catch can, I ran the k&n intake first before the catch can and had the issue, today I went to canadian tire and bought a clamp for the hose that has the clamp on the one side so I will see if that made a y difference. The message usually shows up after one or 2...

New member here, I just installed this intake and I very much agree with the mess of the vacuum lines. I have been having some issue with mine it's been saying reduced engine power message, which i feel like it's a vacuum hose issue but could be wrong
