I am going to use one of the AUX wires for the back. I just didn't want 2 in the back so I cut one and kept it up front and now only one will be utilizing the factory AUX switch/wiring at the rear.
Sorry, kinda hard to explain but I'll try again. (even though I may end up going in a different direction) My original question: The pigtail that sends 2 hot wires to the rear - can I cut (& intercept) one of those at the engine compartment and utilize it up front? I only want one hot wire going...
Ditch lights (including DRL), Raptor Lights in grill, and 1 to the rear for future flood lights. I think (gotta check wattage) but I'm hoping to run DRL and Raptor lights together. Not because I want to but I'll run out of options. (4 items - 3 Aux switches)
I think I have this figured out (but want clarification). My truck came with the 3 AUX switches and the 3 harnesses. I only want to run 1 wire to the rear but my connector has 2 wires going to the back (black & green). I should be able to intercept one of those at the engine compartment so I'm...
Do they come on automatically in reverse or are they on one of the aux switches? Also, I'm trying to figure out some of the pre-wired set up. Part of it I get, but I want to fully understand what the capabilities are before I start in on it. Anyone have an easy way of explaining or has anyone...
I'm kinda scratching my a head a little too. I have 3 harnesses. I understand what the bigger one by the DS headlight does. There's a smaller one next to it (I think) that one runs to the back? But there's a weird pigatil of 2 wires coming out of that harness? I did find the dummy plug at the rear.
Well, I looked into as well. I thought Toyota thought of everything but the first time I turned on the dome light to see in my center console I was not pleased. So, I mistakenly bought a kit off Amazon for a 3rd gen.. Didn't find out until I got the overhead cluster off and apart that I had the...
Thanks .. I had that part figured out but my new one has issues of sometimes working, sometimes not. I'll long press the speak button and she'll say, "oops, something went wrong", then sometimes it works fine. I'm on Android 11 but my phones is being replaced next week. Also, phone gets very hot...
Has anyone had any issues going through carwash with 4th gen? Just picked up my 2025 and have a membership to a local carwash but my prior truck didn't have a sunroof. It has one set of overhead extremely high-pressure water jets that makes me a little nervous.
Thanks for this lead. Wescott seems legit. Made in America. According to their site, the 2.5" front and 3/4" rear you can run 35s, where I only want to run 33's eventually. I wonder how that will look.
I like this idea. I just got my 25 and not wanting to go crazy with lift and likely won't do anything until the BFGs wear out. Then I'll likely just want to go with 33's. Curious if 33's will fit with just a 1.5" leveling kit in front. I had an FJ and did a 3" spacer front and can't remember...
