The S15 is something like 650lbs lighter than the 34 GTR. Although there is a big difference in power I much prefer the lighter car.
And I'm a part of the AutoNation group of dealerships, which have opened up their parts business to individual consumers (was previously focused on B2B), so we...
Stick with no options, my favorite spec!
Also you have great taste in cars. I also have an Evo (Evo 6 Tommi Makinen), and I used to have an FD and a Hawkeye STi. Right now I'm on a bit of a Nissan kick (R33 > R34 > S15) but I need to trim the herd.
Excellent write-up! If anyone needs some crush washers we have both of them in-stock right now:

I always try and get a screen protector when I get a new car, and I also highly recommend anything anti-glare! I was on the fence before but they really make a big difference.
Engine technology (and oils) have improved dramatically over the past two decades. I agree it feels odd seeing such lengthy intervals (compared to the old 3k miles), but they're designed for it!
Oftentimes those requirements are for non-4x4 vehicles, but I don't know CA specifically. My old truck had winter tires all around and it was a beast in the snow. Had no trouble going through the pass.
I'd probably just find a set of chrome ones (easy to source) and just sell the blacked out ones, rather than trying to get the black off there. Someone else would definitely be interested in the set for their truck.
I agree for your first oil change you should stick to 5k miles (personally I like to do 2500 on new stuff), but 10k or at least once a year should be fine. Oil tech has come a long way since the 3k mile interval days.
For just a couple of hours that looks really good, definitely improves the look of the interior (with some bonus durability). I like the camo pattern in the center, too.
It's a very different experience, the Tacoma has a much longer throw and you really feel like you're shifting a truck. I grew up with old trucks so I recognize that classic shifter feel. The Bronco was much more modern and car like, honestly. Worth going to test drive one!
I had one of the new Ford Bronco 2-doors. It was fun, had the manual transmission, but was utterly useful at carrying things or people. I drove a friend's Tacoma with the manual transmission and I was sold.
x2 on the SR5 idea. You can probably find a set pretty easily (and hopefully cheap). Won't feel bad getting them dirty of even a little scuffed up for winter.
Nice! That trick used to with with Uber One (their premium version). For almost 6 months I had a free membership because they always offered me another free month when I went to cancel.
