Twins!! The only thing that threw me off is the dealer told me all TRD off road and sport Tacomas have the tailgate that automatically goes back up with a button by the tail light. Mine doesn’t seem to have that

Mine does not have that nor did I want it. It seems to be an answer to a question no one was asking. Mine is the base model with heated seats. It does everything I want & need it to do

Beautiful Truck I love the wheels. I actually wanted a bronze oxide or silver, and it was damn near IMPOSSIBLE to find a 6MT in my area. One Dealer did searches for me every 3 weeks and one never showed up within 1200 miles.

I was considering the Sixth Intake but worried about potential warranty loss because of it. Same thing with the tune.

One thing I noticed is I don't really have any lag hang. This truck was according to the dealer one of the last 2025 6MT built and I'm wondering if the lag hang is over exaggerated or maybe they fixed it for late 25's to 26 models.

Toyota may have fixed it.

I'm extremely interested in the rev hang situation. If anyone can confirm that it was 'fixed' (software update or some physical change, from Toyota) then I want it! My '25 OR manual, delivered Feb and built last December or January, certainly DOES have significant rev hang. It's not a big issue for me, but worth updating if it's true.

I just took the truck on a 300 mile round trip drive today for work. 50/50 highway and backroad driving between stops. I did not experience rev hang once.

I did some research and saw that, my question is will this void the warranty. I plan on keeping this truck for 10+ years - Unless Toyota cancels the stick and then I will try to get the TRD OR version of whatever the last year of that will be

I'm 99% sure this doesn't void the warranty, but maybe @JustDSM can chime in? I was honestly more worried that Toyota would overwrite my tune if i took it in to be serviced. "Most techs know better, but if there's an issue they're trying to chase down, this may be their first course of action" is what I heard when I got mine done. It's completely reversible with a flash back to stock, but I'm not a toyota emplyoee, so not 100% positive.

Trying to find a 05-07 STI with close to "new"/Delivery miles if you know of one I'll happily pay a 2k finder fee to you

The S15 is something like 650lbs lighter than the 34 GTR. Although there is a big difference in power I much prefer the lighter car.
