Im running Toyo Open Country ATIII -- 315/70/17 +25 offset and don't rub at all.
Just have to remove the crash plate. I've only added a stiffer spring in the rear from AllDogs to help with weight.
Thank you for the message and that has been the general theme that Im hearing.
I have heard stories of it leaking though I imagine that is people not putting them together properly.
It does peak my interest around the general differences between Smartcap, OVS and other toppers like GFC.
Howdy all - curious how all those in this thread with the topper installed -- how is it doing?
Im going between the Smartcap and the OVS. OVS is about 1/2 the price but not really finding much wrong with it.
Would love to know how its been holding up now for those with it installed.
Any...
Great looking rig. Yeah - I havne't done a tune or anything. Im waiting for the S&B to be approved in California. I honestly don't know if they have a tune for the TRD Pro yet. The Banks system is also catching my eye.
I did my weight recently and I was 6,700lbs. 3540 on the front and 3060...
Through that lens - I have plenty of HP and/or torque on the highway. I've never felt robbed of that. To be clear, yes it sucks, but I don't care. This truck is great and I personally didn't buy it for MPGs. I bought it because I have 1 life and we love spending time outdoors.
Well I can't order the S&B kit yet for my truck - apparently its not allowed yet under California law.
I'm not posting this to start any political discussion - just awareness but genuine frustration.
Im sure S&B will get clearance from the CARB people. (California Air Resource Board)...
My MPGs suck but I don’t fully blame the rack and lights. It was also the larger tires and added weight from the bumpers, sliders, armor and gear.
I hover around 14.1-14.5 in the city and then 15-18 highway.
Nice - so this is hybrid compatible? Im wondering if its fitted for the TRD Pro and TrailMaster. I didn't see anything on their site about hybrid compatibility..
I haven't seen that video but for me I was set on using the Garmin PowerSwitch. I ran it in my last vehicle and love them. No control units to wire into the truck.
Knowing that and knowing I was going to run multiple accessories off of it, I elected for a system I knew could handle the...
Correct. I need to do a video and write up on how I relocated the power from the battery into the engine bay - since it's a Hybrid.
I installed the Blaze Off-Road 12V Relocation Kit. I had the first one they made for the Tacoma. I used all Blaze products in my last build so I knew the...
Finally got around to wiring up my @Diode Dynamics SS3 ditch lights this week and honestly couldn't believe how painless it was.
Picked up a @BlazeOff-Road wiring harness and the whole thing took me 7 minutes. No splice work, no head-scratching, just a clean plug-and-play setup. Threw together...
