I've noticed my 4th gen paint chips more easily than my 3rd gen, specifically in the back fender area that protrudes. Has anyone else noticed this? Any solutions? For this big spot, I think I'll have to hit it with some kind of clear coat to prevent rust

I don't have experience with that particular tire but I did put that size on recently (275/70R18 Nitto Terra Grappler G3) with no problem! TRD Sport wheels. With a 3rd gen Taco, you'd probably have to add a small level or lift to fit these size tires but the 4th gen has such a large wheel well...

Curious what you think of the ride quality with an E load rating! I'm looking at the tire for a '24 Tacoma, 275/70/18 and I haven't decided on the load rating yet. Looks like it's only an SL or E for that size.

Late to this thread but how are you liking (or not) the ride quality of those tires? I'm looking at swapping my stock sport tires to 275/70/18's but there's not a ton of options between passenger / E ratings
