I’m using 6-ton Daytona jack stands because the footprint is bigger, plus they are taller if I need to lift high. The wider footprint makes me feel safer than if I were using the 3-ton size.

I like my matte, wider flares. The matte has respectable scratch lines from brush, whereas gloss would look awful with scratches….like poorly applied lipstick.

I have another brand of tonneau cover and bedside MOLLE panels. Had to unbolt the cover’s hardware inserted in the bed rail to get the panels attached to holes in the bed under the rails. But we didn’t have to lift the tonneau cover off the bed. Two pairs of hands made it easy.

My dad’s early Silverado HD diesel had a long lasting engine but he had a lot of repairs and upgrade work done to it (e.g. double oil filtration).
