Had no intention on getting a trailer, hence the Toyo.
Things change, so I went with plan B.
Anybody that looks at that truck in person, if they are looking to do that type of setup might be good for em.
You want to talk to a guy named Drew.
They have 2 different buildings about 8 miles from each other.
The one on Mission Gorge rd is the R&D and admin area, they do have a showroom and the guys at the desk area are very informative.
The other one on Prospect Dr is the install shop.
I probably only ran the truck off-road a half dozen times or so at speed and it performed really good.
Having the adjustable resi’s on all four corners gives you a lot of options as far as low/high speed rebound settings.
Pretty plush ride on the street if you just back off the standard settings...
6.4k is the max for my old rig. Not disputing that.
Trailer weighs in at 6.2k, weighed it at the scales on the way out to the desert so I was legally under the max limit.
But the handling was ok but struggled going up the grade and I knew the weight would only go up so I made the changes I...
Yeah that’s the one, funny two days ago they had it listed for 50k.
I paid 44.7k out the door plus tax license etc.
They gave me 45k for a trade in on a 2022 ford f250 for 50k.
The suspension alone was around 7k
wheels and tires 2.5k
winch and bumper 1.5k
amp research boards 1.5k
plus seat...
Hey gents just a quick post.
I recently purchased a 26’ travel trailer (7k weight) and my Tacoma just didn’t have enough ass to pull it around to my satisfaction so I traded it in on different truck.
The truck is listed for 50k at the dealer ( Oxendale Chrysler Dodge Jeep).
It’s got a Dirt...
Yeah I crawled under there today and there re a few places to mount the unit.
It’s wireless the one I’m getting and just want it for airing up the bags when I tow.
Also have a morflate compressor that I use when airing up/down my tires.
I plumbed the lines underneath with a quick disconnect at...
Anybody found a good spot to mount an Airlift Wireless Compressor underneath the body.
I had that setup on my 2019 ford f350 crew cab long bed before I sold it and there was a ton of room under there to mount it.
i will crawl under there later today to cope out just wondering if anybody has...
Too bad they don’t make a replacement pillar with handle without the faux speaker grill for those of us that don’t have the JBL option on our trucks. Look kinda odd having a grill on drivers side only.
Just swapped out the stock wheels on my bronze oxide 2026 off-road and went with some method 305’s 17x8.5 +25 offset in black.
Couldn’t be happier.
Got a white F350 with bronze 305's too and thought about that color but decided to keep it all bronze/black for the most part.
That Vent fitting has a rubber o-ring on the inside and the outside as well as a cup washer and then gets tightened down with the nut.
Supposedly the o-rings are compatable with being used for fuel.
Well I got the fitting I ordered and installed it into the "fuel cell" aka gas cans, fuel jugs, gas storage container.
So I transferred the fuel that was in the "cell" to my truck and then drilled a small hole and installed the fitting, pretty simple.
The fitting came with a cap but since I want...
Here is a quick pic of the 30L fuel cell after I removed it from my truck.
Because I will be mounting the tank horizontally I can’t use the vent on the bottom under the fill area. So I am going to drill and mount a fitting along the top. As I am not planning to remove the tank and will use a...
Got an issue I would like some input on.
Just purchased a 2026 Tacoma and of course it came with the standard 18g fuel tank.
No larger tank available as off now.
So..
I decided to get some molle panel and mount it to the front section of the rear bed area.
I then purchased a plastic 30L fuel...
I picked up a front bed section of Molly panel complete with hardware for less than $100 off e Bay.
Also found a 30L fuel cell and lockable mounting brackets for I think it was $130 again off e bay.
Going to horizontally mount he tank against the front wall having the fill cap right next to...
