I have an Anker version of the Jacjery that I use the same way. It's in a padded case with a zipper, and it sits between the passengers feet in the back seat, charging from the 12V outlet on the back of the console.

2025 SR5 here, did not come with the start/stop feature. I was SO thrilled when I was shopping and learned that the truck I wanted didn't even come with it.

I also thought I was imagining it. I just did some reading on the Reddit Tacoma forums, and the claim is that as we get in and out of our trucks, our thighs/butts push down on that lever and lower the seat a little each time. If that's true, this is a very viable solution!

Those chips look like they were caused by the tool that they use to install valve stems. Location is correct too.

Can anyone confirm that the 2025 SR5 Tacoma has the automatic sleep feature for its fobs? When I search online I only find info about the manual locking of the key fob. Maybe that feature is only in the higher trim models?

I have a faraday box that my family and I use for extra key fobs, and occasionally for our main fobs, but usually I just lock my fob and leave it attached to my belt on the dresser.

2025 SR5 here. I did my first oil change at 1000 miles, then I did another one at 5000 miles. I will do them every 5000 miles for the rest of its life.

This was my observation as well. Noticeable (but not extreme) power increase, but BIG improvement in shifting and gear hunting.

It's exactly what I wanted too. The tech also told me that it's a learning tune, and it will continue to improve and smooth out for the first 500 miles, so I'm excited to see how it is then.

I had this happen in my truck a few weeks ago, the knob popped off when I was getting in while wearing cargo pants. I pushed down on the switch and it clicked back into place and still functions as it did before. Sounds like I got lucky!
