2025 SR5 here, did not come with the start/stop feature. I was SO thrilled when I was shopping and learned that the truck I wanted didn't even come with it.
I also thought I was imagining it. I just did some reading on the Reddit Tacoma forums, and the claim is that as we get in and out of our trucks, our thighs/butts push down on that lever and lower the seat a little each time. If that's true, this is a very viable solution!
Can anyone confirm that the 2025 SR5 Tacoma has the automatic sleep feature for its fobs? When I search online I only find info about the manual locking of the key fob. Maybe that feature is only in the higher trim models?
I have a faraday box that my family and I use for extra key fobs, and occasionally for our main fobs, but usually I just lock my fob and leave it attached to my belt on the dresser.

So I bought the Rough Country skid plate for my truck, and after wrestling with it trying to get it in without a lift, I decided that I made a bad decision. I see other plates that are aluminum, one piece, and they have two elongated bolt holes to hold the plate up while you start the rest of...

I had this happen in my truck a few weeks ago, the knob popped off when I was getting in while wearing cargo pants. I pushed down on the switch and it clicked back into place and still functions as it did before.
Sounds like I got lucky!
I received the OTT @JustDSM tune on my 2025 SR5 Tacoma yesterday afternoon from Ryan at Colorado Toyota Tuning in Denver. Ryan was fantastic to work with. Very professional.
There is a pretty noticeable power increase, though it's not as drastic as I'd anticipated. The 2.4L i-FORCE turbocharged...
