I noticed the seat in my Tacoma would randomly be slightly lower than I set it every few days. Mirrors all of a suddenly seemed off, and sure enough, a couple pumps on the handle and I was back in my preferred seating position. Simple fix with a chop stick. Hope this helps somebody. Quick and easy fix.

Bro... I thought this was all in my head. I keep getting in my truck and feel I'm seated lower than I remember and I'll just sit there for a second like:

Yea. It’s not a major issue, just annoying. My big concern was once the seat was down a few inches, I would pump it up to the max height and all of a sudden the handle would stop when it was at the top, putting excess pressure upward on the handle, possibly one day way down the road snapping or cracking the plastic pull handle.

Not gonna lie, I seen the first pic and my train of thought was immediately: "Is that a chopstick? No way bro jammed a chopstick in his seat" then I scrolled down and sure enough. How long has it been in there? Also, and this is a critical question, how fat is your ass? Because I have stainless chopsticks I can sacrifice if I need to...

I also thought I was imagining it. I just did some reading on the Reddit Tacoma forums, and the claim is that as we get in and out of our trucks, our thighs/butts push down on that lever and lower the seat a little each time. If that's true, this is a very viable solution!

I had a 25 Tacoma and it always slowly lowered. I crashed it and now have a 26 and it doesn't do it anymore. Not sure what's changed. Same model.
