A quick update. I have bought a few parts in the recent sale, learned a lot about the published parts lists  but now have most of what is needed to add an electric locking fuel door. A few more items to clear up, but a full write up coming soon.
Two ways I can suggest you might be able to find the part number of that gray connector:
1) If you still have access to the vehicle with the connector, with the ignition off and the key fob out of range of the truck (just being safe here), pull the connector and on the end of it there should be...
I use an Apex Designs precision tire inflator (PTI) which has a few key features I like, (1) an accurate pressure gauge, (2) a push on chuck that holds the vale stem securely and then can be pulled off with one hand, and (3) an open/close slider control so that pressure can be added or removed...
This is exactly why I wanted to avoid mounting in the engine bay. ARB make solid products, but it gets pretty hot under the hood on a 4th gen, with the high efficiency engine, so finding an alternative mounting location seemed to make sense.
You have an amazing setup overall, nice job on mounting the Thor, very neat cuts etc.
I’d recommend the ARB hose connector as you can simply push a hose onto it and it locks on. I’ve found that with other connectors you have to use two hands, one required for pulling back the outside locking...
I have been meaning to post a write up of the built in compressor installation I completed earlier in the year and hopefully this is useful or provides inspiration.
Some initial design considerations
I am in the process of building my TRD OR into a lightweight overloading machine, as opposed to...
There are some good online parts diagrams posted here:
https://toyotaparts.lakelandtoyota.com/v-2024-toyota-tacoma--trd-off-road--2-4l-l4-gas
This is for a gas TRDOR, but clicking on the page tree at the top takes you up a level and you can select any model Tacoma you desire, making...
Not yet. I have been researching the relevant cabin switch and the aux switch thread provides info on this. However, I have not yet found information about the fuel door actuator. Maybe someone here has some info?
Tim, I don’t have access to wiring charts, someone on here might, so I would use a multimeter and battery to work out which lines are switched and which are to be powered. Good luck.
To add to TimC’s useful post:
Aux1 switch: part# 84485-AK010 (supersedes 84484-35010)
Switch terminal + wire: part# 82998-24290
Switch terminal connector: 90980-12C78
The switch is not inexpensive ~$84 + tax, and the connector will need to be wired correctly so at least 2 of the terminal...
Those forward trailing arm brackets are pretty exposed, and since I went RCI for my sliders, I just fitted their skids for these brackets:
https://rcimetalworks.com/product/front-lower-link-skids-24-present-tacoma/
and also for the lower rear shock mounts...
I have experienced the exact same issue while fitting a set of Trailhunter underbody protection to a TRD OR. Ordered the fuel tank skid protector that goes on a Trailhunter, as stated, part # PT938-35244, but it requires a different rear fuel tank strap with attached studs and nuts, to secure...
