Hey y’all,
I’ve got a 2025 Tacoma TRD Sport (6-speed manual), and I’m running into a bit of a safety concern with the OEM all-weather floor mats. Every so often, especially when I press the clutch all the way down, the edge of the mat gets caught on the clutch pedal and doesn't let it come fully back up right away. It’s not constant, but it happens just enough to be annoying — and honestly kind of dangerous.
I double-checked to make sure the mats are clipped in properly with the retention hooks and not sliding around. They are locked in place, but it seems like the front edge is just a little too high or stiff, and it catches when the pedal is fully depressed.
Anyone else having this issue?
Did you trim the mat?
