I do not know if it’s just me, but I like the smaller screen better. The 14” screen seems huge, kind of like putting an oversized TV in a tiny apartment. From I read the only difference is the icons appear bigger on the big screen. Too bad it’s mandatory on the higher trim.

I’d like to see a direct comparison between the 8” and 14” screens but so far it seems you’re correct. I believe the surround view camera is only bundled with the 14” screen but otherwise you just get really big icons. I feel like they would’ve been better off just choosing one screen size in the middle. The 8” looks like it exists just to get you to spend more for a larger screen and the 14” is there for bragging rights.

I was called by my salesman that my options for the TRD Sport, where I wanted heated seats, mudguards and the 14" screen no longer applies.

I was told it could be either the heated seats or the 14" screen.

Toyota must have messed up with their configurator, and now they are making sure you pay a separate option to get heated seats and the 14" screen.

Well, I told my guy to keep the heated seats and I will be fine with just the 8" screen. So, my total MSRP dropped to the 44k level for my TRD Sport. I win, I guess.

Interesting that they put different tires on the hybrid. I wonder if that will be the case for the production models or if they were trying a bunch for the prototypes and those were left on it.

Yes, that's why the wheels are larger, but I mean this prototype has Falken Wildpeak AT3's and the production gas models have BFGoodrich Trail Terrain.

My dealer said it would be $70-75k for the Pro. But that still make it over $80k with tax and all the fees. Than options on top. Man I’m never gonna retire.?. But I tell you this,’It’s gonna be a sweet ride’. ?

80k sounds ridiculous till I see the price of Ranger Raptor. Hope I am not selling myself a TRD Pro lol
