265/70R17 Gang

Let’s see some aftermarket wheels with 265/70R17 tires. I have some Method 703 (17x8.5 +35mm) on the way and I’m trying to decide on what to do tire wise. I’ll probably just throw the stock Trail Terrains on for now.

I love the look of the 33” sizes but I’m leaning toward the 265/70R17 to maintain my gas mileage, speedometer calibration, “peppiness”, ride quality, and clearance.

Method 701 (zero offset) w/ Falken Wildpeak A/T4W 265/70R17

Did end up getting (not pictured) the XL Rokblokz fenders to prevent carnage out the back (also got rid of any full lock rubbing).

i got a flat at 450 miles on those stock OEM tires after i mounted the OEM to the Methods
u need to sell them , most tire shops will buy them off you when you mount the new wheels . i made that mistake of cheaping out & running OEM tires

I’m disappointed to hear that the oem trd OR tires aren‘t good/as good as the branded tires they are based on.

Do they have fewer ply’s to save weight? What’s the difference that makes them less durable?

not much tread depth at all on them
i looked my stocks up & they were unrated
& u couldn't buy one local ?
