6MT gear indicator?

Has anyone figured out if the 6MT models have a current gear number display setting for the dash cluster?

I looked around and didn’t have any luck.

Any help appreciated!

If you don’t have something productive to say then why bother replying. Automatic transmissions have a gear indicator. My 2021 STI has a gear indicator and it also is a 6MT. So please don’t be a standard internet troll and maybe be part of a solution.

LOL. I think that's a pretty productive comment. The gear indicator is your hand feeling where the stick is and your brain remembering what gear you put it into. Automatics have an indicator because they're shifting whenever they want to. Since you're controlling the gearing, it's pretty easy to know what gear you're in.

Have to side with the OP - it was a "yes" or "no" question. Riding motorcycles I can appreciate a gear indicator.

I never really thought about needing one until my girlfriend was driving my truck and kept asking me what gear she is in. When you're used to driving manual you don't really think about it but it would be nice to have for inexperienced drivers.
