ABS module

My 24 Tacoma is now at the dealership because it needs a new ABS module. The truck has 3700 miles on it, it’s not drivable. They told me that the part is on back order with no ETA. I’m finding out from google that getting parts is extremely hard with long wait times 6 months and exceeding a year and it’s listed as a severe back order. It amazes me that the new generation is the top selling truck and they are pushing them off the assembly line but have no parts if they break. If I knew this I wouldn’t have sold my 2003 Tacoma which I had for 18yrs and not once was it in the shop other than regular maintenance. I sold that when I purchased the 24. Huge regrets! My question is has anyone else had the ABS module go out and how long to get the part?

That sucks man, buying new vehicles these days is a huge
gamble, not because of the engineering but because of the parts quality. I hope you got a loaner!
