Amber/parking light question

Is there any way to just have the amber lights only illuminated while driving? Seems like the DRL’s come on when shifting into drive. Let me know if I’m doing something wrong.

I just turn the parking lights on when the key is on, that way they turn off with the key.
If you turn them on when the key is off, they will stay on.
