I just finished installing the Ark mudflaps on my 2024 Trailhunter. Ark now has a part number specific to the Trailhunter and Pro with their wider fender flares.
I replaced my OEM Canadian mudguards for the Ark product primarily to improve coverage and protection from gravel and rocks hitting the bedside ahead of the rear wheel wells. I drive on gravel roads a lot for hunting and fishing and don't want the paint damage if I can avoid it.
I also didn't love how the OEM guards touched the paint and had the potential to hold stand and dirt against the body. The Ark mudflaps offer slightly better coverage, are more flexible (I think they will be more resilient during off-roading and with rock contacts) and do not touch the bodywork. Nor do they have any hollow spaces where dirt, debris, and salt can accumulate.
When I pulled my OEM guards off, they were caked with fine dirt and sand that was sitting right up against the body. Add some winter road salt and I think that's going to lead to corrosion.
I liked the look of the OEM Canadian guards a lot. The Ark guards have their own look, and I'm happy with them, but I don't think they look quite as good as the stock units. That's a matter of opinion of course. Here are some photos of both sets of guards.
