Hey y'all, I bought a 26 SR5 a couple of months ago and had an odd experience when driving home today.
I was going about 50 when I pulled onto the shoulder to slow down for my turn. My brakes immediately locked up as soon as I touched the brake pedal, which felt extremely soft. It was as if I had slammed on the brakes, and it seemed like it was all of the calipers locking up.
Releasing the brake pedal instantly disengaged the pads, but barely touching it again caused another lockup. I was at a complete stop at this point, and it returned to working perfectly normal.
There are no dashboard lights or stored codes, so I'm at a complete loss as to what could have caused it. I haven't been able to replicate it and all of the brake components seem fine at first glance.
