Selling my OEM Bronze Trailhunter wheels and tires (265/70R18) plus the stock full size spare. Tires have 800 miles on them (spare has 0 miles). I went with Method Bead Grips wheels 17x8.5 +35 offset.

Method Bead Grips wheels. 17x8.5 +35 offset. Wrapped in BFG All Terrain KO3s 315/70R17. Poke is identical to my stock Trailhunter.

To good members of this forum,
I consider myself to be careful, but never careful enough.
I negotiated with Larry (aka Tacomaking) to buy these tires and wheels.
While making payment, someone somehow was able to hack a payment thread using Applecash.
I thought I was being careful. I first sent $1 to confirm the account.
$1 was received.
When I attempted to send the full amount, it did not go through.
I was directed to a different account (via text), and then another (via text) and ultimately the payments went through.
Only to learn this morning that Tacomaking has no knowledge of the payments other than the original $1.
Not blame other than on myself.
My warning is to be careful with this transaction and don't let what happened to me happen to you.
