I recently purchased a Covercraft UVS100 Premier Series Sunshade for the front window of my 24 Tacoma. This is my first time ever owning a front window Sunshade so maybe I'm not clear on the fit but this one has a 3-4 inch gap on one side and a bit on the other. Is this normal? Is it done to allow for easier placement and removal or should I send it back and order another brand with a more precise fit? The larger gap is on the driver's side.

I've had several Covercraft sunshades and I'm waiting on one to be delivered. I don't ever remember having a gap on either side of the sunshade. It's a tight fit with the new gen Taco but I don't remember that problem with my 21 4runner or my 23 Tundra's sunshade.
I'll let you know when I get my new sunshade.
