Finding a dealership by stock number or VIN

I have had a couple of dealers send me a specific Tacoma that I want to buy, but they have to trade for it. None of them can guarantee me this specific truck, but they want a deposit. Is there a way to find out which dealership actually has the truck so I can just buy it from them?? I have a stock number and VIN.
